Cottesbrooke Hall & Gardens

WordPress Website with ecommerce

Built in the 1700s, in the heart of rural Northamptonshire, Cottesbrooke Hall and Gardens boasts award-winning gardens and the internationally renowned Woolavington Collection of sporting art.

As a busy tourist destination for keen gardeners and fine art lovers, the family-owned estate needed to update their website and include a booking system for house and garden tickets.

With access to a huge array of different plugins, WordPress was the clear option for both the ticketing system and for ease of use to keep both the website up to date and the events calendar fresh with new events.

Our designers were given a clear palette of colours to work with alongside a plethora of gorgeous estate and garden imagery. We adjusted their stunning logo so that it could be changed to any colour within their new pallet.

Heading?

The end result is very regal, with beautiful images of the gardens and the Hall alongside a peak of the Woolavington Collection. Enough information to draw the user in and book tickets to visit the estate.

The Hall page walks you through its history, with peaks of rooms, fine porcelain and beautiful architecture.

The gardens page is set to walk you through the different areas of the grounds, the same way as you would when visiting. Each garden having its own mosaic gallery and a snippet of information on the plants you can expect to see.

The booking system is a uncomplicated calendar view where visitors can see which days the Hall and Gardens are open and easily book tickets, including concessions.
