Garden & Horticulture Industry Digital Marketing

Built From Experience, Not Theory

Our work in the garden sector didn’t begin with a client brief, it began with building a real platform.

Seventy9 partnered in the creation and development of the Allotment Online platform from its earliest concept. Our director, whilst tending his own allotment, had a dream to support people growing their own food, whether they had a full allotment, a garden bed, or simply a few pots on a windowsill. That dream became reality with the build of a platform which provides seasonal guidance, monthly planners and trusted partner recommendations to help growers succeed throughout the year.

Because Seventy9 was involved from the very beginning by shaping the brand, structure, content and marketing, we experienced first-hand how gardeners actually search, learn and decide what to buy online. We learned the importance of timing, clarity and practical advice, and how strongly the gardening year drives behaviour.

That experience now underpins how we support other businesses across the horticulture industry.

With over 250,000 followers across social media, Allotment Online remains an ongoing project and continues to inform how we approach websites, content and marketing for the garden sector.

Our garden sector experience

The garden sector is seasonal, practical and knowledge-driven. Customers don’t just browse; they research, plan and return throughout the year. Successful garden brands therefore need more than a brochure website; they need clear information, helpful content and consistent visibility at the right time in the growing calendar.

Seventy9 works with garden centres, manufacturers, online suppliers and grow-your-own platforms to design websites, build search visibility and run campaigns that support real purchasing behaviour across the gardening year.

We have supported businesses across multiple areas of the horticulture industry, including:

  • Garden product manufacturers
  • Nurseries and plant suppliers
  • Garden buildings and structures
  • E-commerce retailers
  • Grow-your-own and allotment platforms
  • Supplier and partner networks
